Produced by KZ the Producer – Blind In The Summer EP
Lets talk about the mastermind behind a few hits that you may not have known he was behind. Man of the music, muse of life and all round creative intellect; KZ the producer has had a massive year in terms of the projects he’s been involved in and he’s back at it again, having produced almost every song on Bobii Lewis’ EP “Blind In The Summer”. My favourite track from this EP is “What To Do” which has a very bouncy robotic feel to it, Kz has also worked with some dope publications such as GUAP Magazine, and recently teamed up with Wretch 32 to bring us “Liberation”. Pep – No Stars Part II feat. Ghetts & Scorcher
If you haven’t had the pleasure of experiencing Pep’s creativity like a lot of us have, you’re in for something special. Hackney born musician Pep, formerly known as Pepstar is fast establishing his name as one of the brightest talents in the UK music scene. Pep is a rapper/ music producer and director who has become renowned for his witty word play as well as composing beats live and simultaneously rhyming over them intricately in one-take. He’s back with the remix of “No Stars pt. 2” featuring award winning Grime MC Scorcher and Disrpt native, Ghetts. The No stars visuals can be located in various areas of London, with the guys visiting Clapton, Plaistow and Edmonton giving us a direct display of the worlds each of them come from.
Bonkaz – Controlla Remix
Black live truly do matter, as said by Bonkaz in his new refix of Drake’s – Controlla. Bonkaz came with a different vibe with this drop which maybe came as somewhat a shock to some people. Channelling his creativity, whilst speaking lightly on an issue very close to his heart, Bonkaz encourages women of colour, particularly black women, to be proud of the skin they’re in. Definitely a track for the summer.
Produced by. Melo Zed – Broken Ground
I always feel as if Melo is bestowing blessings upon us whenever he lays drops is something new. This one is from “NANG – Ralph Hardy Presents: Growing Pains 2”. Melo Zed has developed a distinctive style in the way he produces his music, he always has a soothing formation to the way he formulates his melodies. Broken Ground has sleepy yet feel good tones floating throughout the entire three minutes and twelve seconds. If you want something to kick back and chill to, Broken Ground is the perfect song, encapsulating all things pure and artfilled.
